Filming & Photography Hire

This Victorian Lock-Up makes for the perfect atmospheric location. Spread across three floors, the Lock-Up turned museum was first built in 1891 and retains many of its original features.

With echoing corridors, lockable cells, holding area, and mock-up interview room, this unique building sets the scene for your project.

Pricing

  • Standard 8 hour day: £1500+ VAT, £100+ VAT per additional hour
  • Supervising preparation or strike: £800+ VAT for up to 8 hours
  • Extra staff member supervising: £600+ VAT for up to 8 hours
Terms & Conditions

Attendees are required to visit in advance to complete a site visit and risk assessment.

You will be responsible for any damage caused to the building or collection during your time at the museum.

Toilets in cells are not to be used – appropriate bathrooms are clearly sign posted.

Premises must be left as you found it, in a clean and tidy state.

Groups of children should be supervised by an appropriate number of adults at all times.

If we are not informed in writing at least 14 days before the date of the event that you wish to cancel the booking, you will still be liable for the full balance.

Your hire should include time to set up and pack away anything you bring with you.

If you go over your booked time, you will be charged at a rate of £100 per hour daytime, £250 per hour evening.

Photographs are allowed.

Permission for any filming must be given by museum staff before the hire takes place. An access agreement must be signed.
