How do I purchase tickets to visit the museum?

I want to buy tickets online to visit today. Can I do this?
We close online ticket sales for a particular day at 7am on the day itself. You can still visit without a ticket, if there is space. We’re open 10am-4pm Tuesday-Sunday.

I’ve ordered tickets but I’ve not received the email containing them. How do I get the tickets?
You’ll receive your email from firstname.lastname@example.org. If you do not receive an email in your inbox, check your spam or junk mailbox.
If you’ve checked your spam or junk mailbox, and the email is not there, use our contact us form.
I’ve bought a concessions ticket. What ID do I need to bring?
Make sure you bring something which shows us your name and date of birth. This can be a driving licence or passport.
If you’ve purchased a student ticket, make sure you bring your National Union of Students (NUS) card, or your college/university ID with you.
If you’ve purchased a Blue Light ticket, make sure you bring your Blue Light Card or have the Blue Light app on your smartphone.
I need to change the time and date of my visit. How can I do this?
We accept changes of dates and times of bookings up to 24 hours before your scheduled visit.
Use our contact us form to let us know you need to change your booking and we’ll do this for you. Make sure you tell us your name and the email address you used to make the booking.
Can I leave the museum and come back later on the same day with my ticket?
No. We do not allow re-entry to the museum with the same ticket.
Can I come to the museum shop without visiting the museum?
Yes. Come to the front desk and let us know you’d like to only visit the shop. A member of our team will take you there.
