We have welcomed hundreds of schools, Scouts, Guides, Brownies, Cubs, and other young people’s groups over the past few years – and now it’s your chance to not only visit our museum, but spend a night in the cells for free!
We are looking to create a sew-on patch suitable for young people’s groups to wear and showcase their time at the museum, which will be available in our gift shop and as an add-on item for group and school visits.

- Let your class or group create their very best designs for a new WMP Museum patch.
- Submit your favourites to our website via the form below by the 31st July 2025.
The museum team will then choose our favourite design to produce, and the designer of the winning submission shall be offered a free sleepover visit to the museum for their group or class – worth a massive £700!

Terms & Conditions
- This competition is for schools and young people’s groups only, including but not limited to; Scouts, Cubs, Brownies, Guides, etc.
- Sleepover Visit information can be found here.
- Sleepovers for a young person’s group are limited to 50 people, including the appropriate number of group leaders/adults.
- By submitting a design entry, you agree to West Midlands Police Museum using the submitted image to produce commercial products and social media content.
- The competition closes at midnight on 31st July 2025 – all entries must be submitted by this time to be considered.
