The Lock Up Remembers

Description

The Lock Up Remembers is an event to commemorate the police officers of the West Midlands who fought and died during the world wars. 147 officers from Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Walsall and Wolverhampton gave their lives fighting to protect their communities.

The Royal British legion, Birmingham Air Raids Remembrance Association amongst others will be in attendance as well as dedicated display boards, talks, items and costumed characters to bring a wartime Lock Up to life and remember those who gave the most in the line of duty.

This is a free event, but tickets need to be booked in advance.
