Clifford Williams is a retired police officer who researches the history of policing LGBT communities.  His talk is based on lived experience and his research from a number of sources, including memoirs and testimonies of police who worked on Vice Squad and police officers who identified/identify as gay or bisexual. Clifford’s talk will chart the complete turnabout in official police approaches to gay and bisexual men, as well as developments by LGBT officers and staff within the service
