Ajay will treat us to an excerpt of the latest book in his acclaimed Kamil Rahman series, The Detective, in which AI and big tech are central themes. Then join in a challenge, as you, he, and Chat GPT work together to come up with a new plot for a crime story. Can AI technology really create a believable storyline that weaves in all the red herrings and tensions that are the essential part of a gripping crime novel? Let’s find out together.

About the Author
Ajay Chowdhury is a serial entrepreneur, venture capitalist, theatre director and author. He is the award-winning writer of the Kamil Rahman detective series and has also written a children’s novel, Ayesha and the Firefish, which was adapted into a musical that premiered in San Francisco.
He has been co-founder or CEO of various companies including Shazam and is currently a senior partner at the Boston Consulting Group and Chairman of Cambridge University’s spin-out arm. He is the artistic director of the Rented Space theatre company and has directed over a dozen plays in London and India. Ajay lives in London, cooks experimental dishes for his wife and daughters and writes through the night.
