It is hard to imaging there was a time when arsenic was an everyday product, freely available over the shop counter – would you keep arsenic alongside the porridge and sugar?
Howard, a retired Coventry West Midlands Police Officer will look at some 18th & 19th Century arsenic poisoning cases, some deliberate some tragically accidental, some poor people, others pillars of Society. Explore these alongside the prevailing social and economic circumstances of those times.
